Fotografie ist eine meiner größten Leidenschaften seit 2006 und es hat nicht lange gedauert bis ich anfing mit einer
digitalen Spiegelreflex zu fotogafieren. Dank meiner Eltern die damals eine Canon EOS 350D kauften war ich in der Lage
mich mit all den Einstellungen & Co auseinanderzusetzen. Später tauschten wir die 350D gegen eine 450D ein und letztes
Jahr im August war ich in der Lage mir eine eigene Canon EOS 50D anzuschaffen. Meine Ausrüstung besteht nun also neben
der 50D aus dem Canon EF-S 17-85mm IS USM, einem Canon EF-S 50mm 1.8 II und natürlich meiner Lieblingslinse, dem Canon
EF 70-200mm 4L USM.
Meine Lieblingsmotive sind vorallem Pferde und Hunde, generell Tiere. Außerdem liebe ich die Natur, sodass man mich sehr
oft fotograierend draußen antrifft.
Im Jahr 2010 bestand ich erfolgreich mein Abitur - die Frage war nur: Was nun? Schon lange hegte ich den Traum nach
der Schule erst einmal nach Australien zu gehen, doch die Sorge um Jobs und ob das auch alles so möglich sei aufgrund
der Weltwirtschaftskrise verschob diesen Gedanken wieder. Doch da ich auch nach intensiver Ausbildungs- und Studienplatzsuche
nichts finden bzw. keinen Platz bekommen konnte, bei Dingen die ich wirklich gerne getan hätte, entschied ich mich rekativ
spontan doch noch nach Australien zu fliegen - dort war die Lage inwzischen wieder besser für "Work & Holiday"er.
Und so
flog ich am 18. Oktober nach einigen Monaten Vorbereitung endlich in das Land der Gegensätze. Ein Traum wurde wahr. Auf meiner
10 monatigen Reise durch Australien erlebte ich wunderbare Dinge und ich kann nur sagen: Es war die beste Entscheidung meines
Lebens!
Ich hoffe man sieht meinen Fotos den Spaß und die Leidenschaft an, die dahinter steckt. Australien ist
ein wundervolles Land und auch wenn ich wirklich gern wieder zuhause bin, ein bisschen fehlt es mir ja dann doch...
Mittlerweile bin ich übrigens Studentin an der Hochschule Hamm-Lippstadt und eine der ersten, die dort "Computervisualistik
und Design" studiert, was deutschlandweit nur noch an zwei weiteren Universitäten angeboten wird.
Aber jetzt viel Spaß beim
Fotos durchstöbern und vielleicht springt die Begeisterung für Australien ja über - falls sie das nicht schon ist!

Photography is one of my biggest passions since 2006 and it didn't took long until I started taking pictures with
digital SLRs. Thanks to my parents who bought the Canon EOS 350D I was able to deal with all the different settings
and co. Later on we exchanged that one for a 450D and last year August I was able to get my own Canon EOS 50D.
So my set includes now next to the 50D a Canon EF-S 17-85mm IS USM, a Canon EF-S 50mm 1.8 II and of course my favorite
lens the Canon EF 70-200mm 4L USM.
My favorite thing to shoot are horses, dogs and animals in general. Further I really love nature, so you'll find me
spending a lot of time outdoors taking photos.
In 2010 I successfully passed my german school exams - now the question was: What to do now? For a long time I wanted to
go travelling through Australia after school, but we were worried about the situation with jobs and all this because of the
world financial crisis. So I abandoned the thought of Australia for once and started looking for an apprenticeship job as a
mediadesigner or a university place for design studies. But even after an intense search, I couldn't get something I really
liked and wanted. It was kind of spontaneous when I finally decided to go to Australia after all, because the situation for
"Work and Holiday Maker" was good again over there.
On the 18th october 2010 I boarded a plane to the country of contrasts after a couple of months
preparation. A dream came true. My ten-months trip through Australia was a really great and lovely time and I just have to say:
That was the best decision in my life so far! I hope my photos provide an understanding of all that passion I felt and the
fun it was taking them. Australia is a beautiful country and even if I am really happy to be back home,
I always miss it a little bit...
Meanwhile I am on of the first student at a new university called "Hochschule Hamm-Lippstadt" studying "computervisuality and design"
, which is just possible at two other universitys in Germany.
But now I want to wish you lots of fun browsing through my
photos and maybe I am passing that fascination for Australia on to you - in case you're not already crazy for Ausralia anyway!
